What is a DeltaLight Concrete Pack and how to use it?
The DeltaLight Concrete Pack is used for recessing spotlights into concrete walls and ceilings. To be more precise, the DeltaLight Concrete Packs can be used for following walls and ceilings: concrete, concrete + plaster, concrete beam and block + plaster and prefabricated concrete plate.
The Concrete Packs ensure a neat and safe installation of your recessed spotlights. It’s best to install them before your concrete is cast. This way you’ll always have the right recessed holes.
The Concrete Packs are divided into two categories. The first category is Concrete Packs for modular lighting fixtures, for a trimless installation of fixtures such as the DeltaLight Grid In Trimless. The second is Concrete Packs for regular recessed spotlights.
The DeltaLight Concrete Packs for modular fixtures are divided into two categories according to the shape of spotlights they’re used for. Type 1 for the smaller models and type 2 for the oblong models.
How to install a Concrete Pack for modular fixtures?
Cover the openings in the Concrete Pack with tape, so no concrete seeps through later.
Attach the cover disk to the wooden mold on the spot where you want to recess your spotlight into your concrete ceiling.
After the placing of the reinforcement for the concrete, you mount the Concrete Pack over the cover disk. Make sure it stays in its place by using mounting straps or something similar.
Foresee cabling in the Concrete Pack for the power supply of your spotlights.
Cast the concrete in the mold.
After the concrete has dried out, remove the mold with the cover disk.
Remove the wood slats within the DeltaLight Concrete Pack one by one. This needs to be done in a certain order. The slats are numbered 1 to 4 and need to be removed in that order. Start by 1, 2 is next and so on.
Connect your spot and mount it into the DeltaLight Concrete Pack.

How to install a Concrete Pack for regular spotlights?
Mount the cover of the Concrete Pack onto the wooden mold on the spot where you want to recess your spotlight into the concrete ceiling.
Click the Concrete Pack onto the fixed cover. Make sure it stays in its place by using mounting straps or something similar.
Click your flex cable onto the provided connection points.
Cast the concrete in the mold.
After the concrete has dried out, remove the mold.
Carefully remove the cover disk from the Concrete Pack recessed box with a box cutter.
You can finish off with plastering and a dash of paint (optional).
Connect the spotlight and mount into the DeltaLight Concrete Pack.
