SLV track lighting: everything you need
The most flexible lighting solution
Track lighting can be called the most flexible lighting solution on the market. We all probably recognise it: you found the perfect place for your new dining table, but that one light point in the ceiling of the room is not centrally located above your piece of furniture. Thanks to track lighting, you can position your favourite pendant lamp centrally above the dining table or provide another room, such as the kitchen, with the light you are missing. The length and shape of track lighting can be completely adjusted to your wishes and needs.
What do I need?
You need certain parts to assemble and mount track lighting. A track, power supply, connectors, end caps, and, of course, spots and/or pendant lamps. Have you ever come across a nice pendant lamp that is not designed for track lighting? No problem… because SLV provides you with the adaptors you need to attach your favourite eye-catcher to your track lighting.
Single-phase or three-phase track lighting?
When browsing through SLV's assortment, you will see two types of track lighting: single-phase and three-phase track lighting. So what's the difference?
With single-phase track lighting, you work with just the three wires from the ceiling to illuminate the room the way you want. So, installing a single-phase track is not complex at all. With a single-phase track, all the light fixtures on the track are controlled at the same time.
With three-phase track lighting, each fixture on the track is assigned to a phase via a switch: L1, L2 or L3. You can control each of the phases separately, which allows you to switch the lights on the track on or off separately.
