How long is the warranty on my products?

The standard warranty on our products is 2 years, but on some brands and products you get a longer warranty. If this is the case, it is always indicated with the relevant brand and/or product.

  • Legal warranty: the legal warranty on all our products is 2 years from the purchase date. This is the minimum period of use you can expect from a product. The article is in good condition and functions properly with normal use. If this is not the case, you can invoke your legal warranty for repair, replacement or refund.
  • Manufacturer's warranty: in addition to the legal warranty, some brands and products come with an additional manufacturer's warranty of up to 10 years. This is mentioned on our website under the relevant brand or product. This manufacturer's warranty is issued by the manufacturer or supplier. They can set their own conditions for this guarantee. More information about this can be found in the manual or documentation accompanying the product.

 

What are the warranty conditions?

We guarantee that a product purchased from us is in good condition and will continue to work as expected under normal use. Is this still not the case? Our customer service department will provide a suitable solution for you if the defective product meets the conditions below:

  • Any defect must be reported within the applicable warranty period.
  • Damage to a product resulting from improper use, abuse or neglect is not covered by warranty.
  • Products and/or parts affected by normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty.
  • Your warranty is void if you have already had the affected product repaired by a third party not approved by Abitaz or our supplier.
How do I register my guarantee request?

Fill in the contact form with as many details as possible and try to describe the problem as well as possible. You can also always contact our customer service department directly. They will be happy to help you find a suitable solution together.

 

I have received a new product under warranty, will my warranty period now be extended?

No, your warranty period will not be extended. The purchase date of the original product remains valid.
