Let us take you back in time. The Orient was first introduced in the market in 1963 by the then-renowned Danish brand Fog & Mørup. It became a huge success. Fifty years later, Fritz Hansen Lighting felt it was about time to dust off the Orient and re-introduce it to the market. And even today, not surprisingly, it has become a huge hit.
The name says it all. Seeing the Fritz Hansen Lighting Orient will immediately remind you of the East. The soft slopes and curves in the design, combined with the copper surface, create a very stylish look. The narrow slots at the top of the lampshade ensure that the light is filtered out in an optimal manner.
The Fritz Hansen Lighting Orient is available in three versions. The Orient P1 is the smallest of the family, the P3 is the big brother. Due to the long suspension cable (choice between 3 or 6 metres), the Orient is a great solution for high ceilings or entrance halls. The Fritz Hansen Lighting Orient is not suitable for outdoor use or for use in a bathroom, since it has an IP value of 20.
