Flos Frisbi Pendant light Chrome

By the hand of the master We can easily say the Flos Frisbi is designed by the hand of the master. Achille Castiglioni is an award winning designer, who created several design classics in the second half of the 20th century. Especially in the 60's, he was very active, with iconic lamps such as the Snoopy and the Arco. The disk Of course the Frisbi derives its name from the big, round disk, which 'floats' underneath the shade. This disk changes the lamps appearance completely, but it's more than just a cosmetic interference. As always Castiglioni tries to pair practical needs with visual appeal/ Triple action The Flos Frisbi has the unique characteristic to spread three different kinds of light. Through the whole in the 'frisbee', a direct, aimed light shines. The light that shines on the disk is partially reflected and partially diffused. All together, these three kinds of light make for a pleasant, cozy illumination of the room. Technical information The round diffuser in made out of PMMMA en is held by three thin, steel cables. The reflector consists of polished sheet metal, with a white finish on the interior. A 70W bulb for the E27 fitting is included.
