The designer is one of the founding members of Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova, Italy which created this innovative design for Artemide in 1967. Design and Background The Nessino is a modern version of the Nesso Table Lamp which won the Studio Artemide/Domus Competition (1965), Italy and features as a unique modern design in many museums around the globe. The Artemide Nessino is a 22.3cm tall lamp whose body and the diffuser are made from polycarbonate material. The design is so eye catching that it looks like a superb show piece on your table, even when turned off. Intended Use The Artemide Nessino is a table lamp designed for direct and diffused lighting.
