Artemide, the pioneers in coming up with great designs for lamps have produced yet another classic in the Choose wall lamp. A bit old school yet post-modern in the design approach, this Choose series design would surely add a touch of elegance to your living room.

Design

The Choose series is designed by an Italian architect and designer, Matteo Thun for Artemide. Known as the co-founder of Memphis Group, a design movement, he has worked with various design firms throughout his career.

Artemide has given this piece a very classic look with innovative use of materials, in this case a diffuser made of polycarbonate with slits provided for the diffusion of light.

The Choose series of lamps come as table, floor, and suspension or as a wall lamp; and this particular model is designed to be a wall lamp which provides sufficient reading light or atmospheric light when needed.

Intended use

It is intended to be used indoors, specifically in hospitality services, but it can also be equally used to add a dash of elegance to your living room. The look and feel of the room becomes serene with these wall mounts installed. Nothing beats the feeling of reading a book or just sit lazily listening to music in these lights.

Technical Specification

The Choose Wall or Parete, as the product is popularly known, is specifically a wall mounted luminaire which is able to provide direct as well as diffused lighting. The lamp used is generally an incandescent source of maximum 60W. An LED light source version is also available for this product.

The material utilized for the diffuser covering the lamp is a parchment paper with vertical slits. The product is available in two distinct colors: parchment paper and red.
