Sofie Refer, the young Danish designer of this lamp, pays tribute to the first electrical light bulbs with the &tradition Bulb. Though this glass lamp might look fragile, it’s produced from very firm, thick mouth blown glass.
Because of the mouth blowing of the glass, some small irregularities might occur. This makes every &tradition Bulb a unique piece. To make this pendant light even more personal, you can choose between a black or transparent cable. A porcelain socket and canopy turn this lamp into a beautiful mixture of contemporary design and elements from earlier days.
The &tradition Bulb from 2001 has got a brother (or sister) in 2006, the Mega Bulb. Except for the fact that his younger family member is the biggest, there’s yet another difference between the ‘normal’ and the Mega Bulb. The Mega bulb not only offers a choice in colour for the cable, but also for the glass. This choice is not available for the Bulb.
The &tradition Bulb uses a classical E27 socket. For this socket, a lamp of maximum 60W is advised. With an IP-value of 20, this lamp is only suited for indoor usage. The sizes of this pendant are 180 x 230 mm (W x H).
You can mount the Bulb on a rail with the following adapter: DM Eutrac adapter
