&Tradition Blown SW3 Pendant Silver

Diamond The pattern of the &tradition Blown makes this lamp sparkle like a diamond. When this beautiful glass pendant is lit, it creates an unseen light spectacle. Even during daytime, this lamp and its retro look add a certain prestige to a room. Past and present The &tradition Blown is a shiny bridge between past and present. The London designer, Samuel Wilkinson, used high-tech 3D software to create the pattern for this lamp’s casting mould. With this pattern glass blowers shape the glass shade in the traditional mouth blown way. Exploration This lamp started out as an exploration of what light does when it’s surrounded by glass with certain patterns. Wilkinson started to play with this idea to see which reflections, refractions and deformations he could create. The result is a classy suspension lamp which provides direct as well as beautifully diffused light, which looks as if it’s drawn on the walls. Technical info The &tradition Blown is available with a transparent and a matt shade. Both versions are identical except for the colour of the shade and cable. They both use an E27 socket, which should be used with a 60W max lamp. The pendant measures 280 x 280 mm. With an IP-value of 20, it’s only suited for indoor usage.
