The lighting brand Il Fanale was founded in 1979 in San Biagio di Callalta, next to Treviso. The brand is characterized by the passion for traditional production methods in metalworking. Il Fanale uses rough high quality materials in producing its lamps in a refined way. These methods are constantly being monitored and improved whenever possible to achieve the best exclusive results in lighting fixtures. Il Fanale is therefore a typical Italian brand. It was built up by Luisa Martin and Fausto Dalla Torre, two masters in processing classic materials.

The entrepreneurial spirit, the high degree of specialization, the quality of the materials, the creativity of the designers and the innovativity of the production methods were and are still the main engines behind the international growth of the Il Fanale brand.
