Everyone is familiar with the classic factory lamps with their elongated conical shade. Cecilie Manz has used this shape as the basis for the Lightyears Caravaggio. He has stripped the design of all redundant elements and created a streamlined version of these fixtures. This is what gives the Lightyears Caravaggio its timeless look.
There are all kinds of subtle details in the design of the Caravaggio. For example, take a look at the pendant lamps. Here, the power cable is enclosed within a textile sheath. Or the wall lamp, where the wall bracket has an adjustable arm. Even the standing and table lamps of the Caravaggio range have a supporting pillar that has been stylishly integrated into the lamp shade.
Cecilie Manz is not someone who likes bright colours. This is why our Lightyears Caravaggio collection does not contain any red, blue or purple variants. Black, white and shades of grey predominate. This too contributes to the timeless nature of these fixtures. Thanks to the subdued colours, the Caravaggio fits in with any style and room.
