The design
When it comes to the design itself, the Flos Ray floor lamps feature a four legged lamp, the tubular legs are welded together in a beautiful pattern that goes very well with simple atmosphere in any location in a residential or commercial place. The tubular legs are chrome plated to give a desirable effect and connected together with a die cast base for the lamp cover at the top. When we come to the lamp cover, it is divided into three different parts. The outer most part comes in three colors white, grey or black. The different colors of the outer cover give the possibility of different effects and also gives the ability to implement the same design in different settings. There are two diffusers, inner and outer. The inner diffuser is white and made from mould injected polycarbonate. The outer diffuser is 3% opal colored and both diffusers are combined together to produce smooth diffused light.
Flos Ray: practicality
The Flos Ray series is a very easy to use diffuser lamp. The best thing about the lamp is that it is very easy to change or replace the bulb. This means that you don’t need to be a technical specialist to replace the bulb. The Flos Ray series is a light weight lamp that could be moved from a place to another easily and with no effort.
Another important feature from the Flos Ray lamp is that it comes ready to be connected wirelessly with the Flos cubo dimmer. This means that you can easily change the light intensity according to your settings in the cubo box. The Flos cubo is an accessory that needs to be ordered separately. (it’s never included) If you do not want to connect it to a Flos Cubo, you can still use the integrated dimmer to set the light intensity.
