Flos Taraxacum in its specialty is the pioneer designer illumination device that has a 3D shape. The concept was the improvisation and extension of a cocoon from the USA. The Castiglioni brothers had imported the cocoon and put a powder coated steel structure inside of it. They then sprayed a special kind of cocoon resin, which is transparent in color, for finishing purpose. It got the polished look and has resemblances with sea corals. It is designed to be a suspension light diffuser instead of any mounting base – which is natural for any 3-D illumination device design.
