Flos Fantasma
Flos Fantasma is designed in 19671 by Tobia Scarpa. Flos Fantasma is made from Cocoon, a material that characterizes Flos. One could even say Flos originated from this material. Cocoon is after all one of the first materials Flos designers experimented with.
Flos Fantasma has a unique diffuser which provides special lighting. Fantasma appeals to one’s imagination, as already implied in the name of the design. Cocoon is the name of the material, but Flos Fantasma is also shaped like a cocoon. Fantasma represents a sense of security and hominess. At the same time the size of Flos Fantasma makes the design majestic and impressive.

Floor lamp providing diffused light. White powder coated internal steel structure sprayed with a unique "cocoon" resin to create the diffuser which is then protected by a transparent sprayed on finish.
