Flos - Zeppelin

Flos Zeppelin is another brilliant ceiling lamp designed by Marcel Wanders. Wanders had put a great effort in this great looking suspension. The Flos Zeppelin comes in two models: the first one – Zeppelin 1 - is a single bulb model while the second one is equipped with three lamps inside (Zeppelin 2). The first model is more suitable for a low ceiling or small places as it is 110 cm in diameter while the other model is more suitable for a large location that require more light intensity and it comes in a larger dimension (180 cm).

 

The Flos Zeppelin pendant light or suspension has a unique design that comes with unusual materials. The base skeleton is made of steel and the whole design is covered with a material called cocoon which gives the effect of silk threads covering the whole skeleton and that material is also covered with a transparent polish for protection and easy cleaning. The cocoon material works also as the diffuser for that great lamp so there is no glass diffuser inside. At the center of the design, there is a shimmering crystal ball to add a shinier effect to the light coming out of the Flos Zeppelin. The Zeppelin is only offered in white which goes very well with any décor setting or any furnishing style. The Flos Zeppelin comes with a long steel cable that provides a variation in the height of the Flos Zeppelin.
 

 

 

 

The first model comes with one 230 W bulb that provides an adequate amount of light for a small place while the three bulb model (Flos Zeppelin 2 ) provides more light with extra convergence to cover a wider space.
 

 

 

 

The Zeppelin from Flos is considered a great solution for a large commercial place with less furniture as it will fill a large space and will provide a good level of lighting at the same time. It is very important to use such practical solutions when it comes to providing an adequate amount of light for a large place.
