Michele De Lucchi heads another edition of the Artemide’s Tolomeo range. The joints of the lamp are at the diffuser point, base, and at the midway, giving the lamp more flexibility in movement. The cantilevered arms of the lamp are from polished aluminum. The diffuser does not allow light to pass through it. It is from
anodized aluminum, or black aluminum, and the base is from polished aluminum. For positioning, the Tolomeo Lettura uses the spring balancing system, as is the case with all other lights in the range
Dimensions and Characteristics
The maximum length to which the arm can reach is 170 cm and the base diameter is 23 cm. An E27 100W bulb illuminates the lamp. The lamp has an IP 20 protection against solids greater than 12 mm, the class II safety class, protective isolation, F class in fire prevention classes and an ENEC inspection seal/certificate.
